The management of SDU decided in 1995 to introduce the quality management system and in 2010 the environmental management system (QEMS) and have it externally certified. The QEMS is supplemented by a Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS). These systems are at the heart of corporate policy, affecting management's leadership and the actions of all employees. This action ensures that process management is customer- and environment-oriented and minimizes risk. Considering sufficient profitability and economic efficiency, therefore, all activities in the company are oriented towards the benefit to the customer, the protection of the environment and the safety of the employees in their daily work. Management demonstrates its commitment to meet its requirements by:

 

 


An important task of the SDU is to achieve a constant improvement in customer satisfaction. Matching the interests of the SDU with the interests of the customers leads to a mutual benefit. The highest principle is a long-term partnership with existing / new customers and suppliers. Customer satisfaction combined with capital and performance profitability secures growth and employment for the future. To achieve these goals, the employees are in the foreground. By being involved in decision-making and improvement processes and qualified by expedient training measures, they make a significant contribution to the success of the company. It is important to eliminate the risks associated with all employee activities or to minimize them to an acceptable level of risk.

SDU has set itself the task of sustainably protecting the environment. That's why we plan our processes in a way that saves natural resources. We therefore deal sparingly and efficiently with important resources such as energy, water and the raw materials we use.
